Software for the deathcare profession

Built inside a funeral home. Made for the people who run one.

Humphrey Enterprise Software builds operations platforms for funeral homes, cemeteries, and burial associations. Every product was designed and tested in a working funeral service before it was offered to anyone else.

Approach

Why software from a funeral director is different.

01

Tested on real cases first

Nothing ships until it has carried an actual family through an actual service. The workflows reflect how the work happens, not how a vendor imagines it.

02

Compliance is a feature, not a plug-in

Fiduciary separation, fund accounting, and regulatory reporting are built into the data model. The system will not let you commingle what the law says you cannot.

03

Small, direct, and accountable

You talk to the person who wrote the code and who also answers the phone at a funeral home. Questions get an answer within one business day.

04

Modern, boring technology

Web applications on a proven stack, hosted in the cloud, with automated backups and tests. No servers in your closet and no software to install on every desk.

Founder

James Humphrey

Licensed funeral director. Software developer. Owner.

James is President of Humphrey Funeral Service in Russellville, Arkansas, operates Center Valley Memorial Gardens, and serves as administrator of the Arkansas Burial Association. For years he ran those businesses on software that was never designed for them, so he started building his own.

Humphrey Enterprise Software, LLC is the company that owns, licenses, and supports those products. It exists so that other funeral homes, cemeteries, and associations can run on tools that were shaped by the work itself.

“I sit with families in the morning and write code in the evening. The software has to work for both.”
